A vacancy exists for a Clerk to Blaxton Parish Council from May 2010.

7 Hours per week working from home. The salary scale is  LC 1 (23-25)  paid on a pro rata basis

The  Parish Council meets normally 10 times a year. The job includes preparing agendas and taking minutes of meetings,dealing with correspondence and acting as the Responsible Financial Officer to the Council.

The Parish Council has a vacancy in the role of Clerk to the Council.

The Parish Council meets normally 11 times a year on the third Tuesday of the month in the evenings, with the exception of August.

The role includes preparing agendas and taking minutes of meetings, dealing with correspondence, following up on actions agreed by the Council. You will need to provide your own computer with internet connection.

Experience would be useful but is not essential. Support for training in a recognised local council clerical qualification will be considered.

The Parish Council invites applications for the post of Clerk.

 

The Parish Council meets every 4- 6 weeks and the Clerk is responsible for preparing agendas, minuting meetings and following up actions agreed by the councillors. The Clerk’s duties also include keeping the accounts, monitoring the budget and assisting in its preparation.

PARISH CLERK/RESPONSIBLE FINANCIAL OFFICER

 

A vacancy has arisen for a Clerk to Ecclesfield Parish Council. We are seeking a community focused candidate who already holds the CiLCA qualification as a

minimum. This is a part-time post of approximately 20-25 hours per week with the benefit of flexible working arrangements (Council, Planning and Finance meetings in

the evenings) and a pro rata salary in accordance with NJC scale 35-42. The starting point will depend upon experience and qualifications.

 

The Clerk will also be the Responsible Financial Officer and therefore financial acumen will be essential. The Parish of Ecclesfield has approximately 40,000
